Wash and clean the tomato. roughly chop and blend to a puree. Set aside. Fine chop the garlic and set aside.

Blend the tomato to make a puree. and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and saute well. Add tomato puree along with salt, black pepper and chilli flakes. Let it cook till it reduces and gets thick. The tomato should have cooked through. Add a little water while cooking.

Hand tear the basil and sprinkle over the sauce along with dried oregano. Mix and allow it to rest covered for 5min.
