Hanson Gregory, an American, was the first to have invented the ring design of doughnuts when he was sailing onboard a ship in 1847 when he was just 16 years old. He wasn't happy with the way doughnuts had a raw centre so he decided to punch a hole in the middle and reinvent it. His mother drew inspiration from her son's creation and refined the classic doughnut recipe further by adding walnuts an ... d hazelnuts to the centre while deep-frying the dough. Donuts became popular when the Dutch came to New York and introduced them. As time went on and the world progressed, doughnuts didn't just become a snack for special occasions. It became a part of everyday life and now it's not uncommon to find citizens stopping by a coffee shop and enjoying a plate of doughnuts for a quick breakfast. Our No-Bake Apple Donut adds apple to the mix and involves zero baking. If you thought making doughnuts was hard, our no-bake apple donut recipe will prove you wrong. Pop open our No bake apple donut video, set the ingredients on the table and get ready to start making these delicious treats!
